Rat & mouse control in Armidale
More than dropping a few baits. We map the property, place lockable stations where the rodents actually run, and tell you which gaps are letting them in.
Armidale's cold winters push rodents indoors, and older housing stock around town gives them plenty of ways in — weatherboard gaps, unsealed eaves, a roof line that has dropped, a gap under a roller door. Once they are in the roof cavity they are warm, safe and breeding.
Loose bait thrown into a roof is both ineffective and unsafe around children and pets. We use lockable, tamper-resistant stations placed where the runs actually are, and we map every one so the follow-up visit checks the right places rather than hunting for them.

What’s not included
- ×The follow-up visit. A second visit a few weeks later is strongly recommended to finish the job, it is charged separately, and the warranty only starts once it is done.
- ×Proofing work itself. We tell you where the gaps are; sealing them is a separate job and often a builder's.
- ×Removing a rodent that dies inside a wall or ceiling cavity. It happens, it passes, and opening a wall is not part of the price.
- ×Possums. They are protected native animals and cannot be baited — that needs a licensed removal.

Common questions
Is the bait safe around my dog?
The stations are lockable and tamper-resistant, and they are placed in the roof cavity, the garage and other spots out of a pet's reach. That is the whole reason we use stations rather than loose bait.
What if a rat dies inside a wall?
It happens occasionally and it does pass, usually within a week or two. Opening a wall or ceiling cavity to retrieve one is not part of the price — it is a builder's job and rarely worth doing.
Why do I need a second visit?
Because one visit does not finish it. Bait takes time to work through a population, and stations need checking and recharging a few weeks later. It is charged separately, and your warranty starts once it is done.
Can you seal the holes as well?
We will show you exactly where they are getting in and what needs closing. The proofing work itself — mesh, sealing, roller door brushes — is a separate job and often a builder's or handyman's.
