Flea & tick treatment in Armidale

Fleas are treated where they breed, not where they bite — carpets, floorboard gaps, skirtings, pet bedding and the shaded spots outside the animals lie in.

Most flea jobs in Armidale are one of two things: an active infestation with someone getting bitten around the ankles, or an end-of-lease treatment because the tenancy agreement requires one where pets have been kept. We price both, and the end-of-lease version is cheaper when you book it alongside a carpet clean — which also gets a better result, since vacuuming and extraction remove eggs and larvae the treatment cannot reach.

Where fleas are active it takes two treatments to break the breeding cycle. Pupae can lie dormant in carpet for weeks and hatch after the first treatment, so a single visit risks them coming straight back.

What you get, and what you don’t

What’s included

  • ✓End-of-lease flea and tick treatment for the tenancy agreement ($219)
  • ✓The same job booked with a carpet clean ($182) — the two work better together and it is cheaper
  • ✓Internal and external treatment covering carpets, skirtings, pet areas and outdoor hot spots
  • ✓Vacuuming, washing and pet-treatment advice that actually changes the result
  • ✓6-month warranty — where fleas are active, it starts after the second treatment · T&Cs apply

What’s not included

  • ×Where fleas are active it takes two treatments to break the breeding cycle — one on its own risks them coming straight back, and the warranty only starts once the second is done.
  • ×Treating the animal. The pet must be under a vet-recommended flea treatment or the cycle restarts from the dog, and the warranty does not cover that.
  • ×Ticks beyond the treated area. Ticks reinfest from wildlife, pets and neighbouring bush, so tick cover is limited by nature — no yard treatment holds them out permanently.

Common questions

Do you provide a certificate for the real estate agent?

We provide an invoice describing the work, which is what agents ask for and what satisfies most tenancy agreements. We cannot guarantee any particular agent accepts it, because that decision is not ours.

Does my dog need treating too?

Yes, and the warranty depends on it. Fleas arrive and re-arrive on the animal — if the pet is not under a vet-recommended flea treatment, the property is simply re-seeded and nothing we apply will hold.

Why two treatments?

Flea pupae are effectively armoured and can sit dormant for weeks. The first treatment deals with adults and larvae; the second catches what hatches afterwards. Skip it and you usually start again.

Can you guarantee no more ticks?

No, and nobody honestly can. Ticks reinfest from wildlife, pets and neighbouring bush, so tick cover is limited by nature. We reduce what is in the yard; we cannot fence out a bandicoot.
