Cockroach treatment in Armidale
Cockroaches are treated where they nest and feed — behind the fridge, under the sink, inside cupboard hinges — not where you happened to see one.
If you are seeing cockroaches in daylight, there are considerably more than the ones you have seen. They are nocturnal by nature, so daytime activity usually means the harbourage is crowded enough to push them out into the open.
In Armidale the two places they establish are the kitchen and the bathroom, because both offer what a cockroach needs to breed: warmth, moisture and food residue. Treating the bench top does nothing about either. We treat the voids, hinges and appliance cavities where they actually live, with gel and dust that they carry back into the harbourage.
What it costs
Every price below is what we actually charge, published so you do not have to ring for it.
- Low infestation — kitchen & bathrooms$236
- High infestation — full property$305
A high infestation often needs a second treatment once the egg cases hatch. Your technician assesses that on the day; it is charged as a separate treatment and the warranty starts once both are done.
6-month warranty — starts once any recommended follow-up treatment is done · T&Cs apply

What’s included
- ✓Kitchen and bathroom harbourage treated in full ($236)
- ✓Or the whole property where it has spread beyond those rooms ($305)

What’s not included
- ×A high infestation often needs a second treatment once the egg cases hatch. Your technician assesses that on the day; it is charged as a separate treatment and the warranty starts once both are done.
- ×Cleaning. Treatment kills the roaches; it does not remove the droppings, and a kitchen that stays unsealed will attract the next lot.
- ×Bins, compost and neighbouring units are outside the treated area, and in a block of flats they are usually where the next ones come from.

Common questions
Do I need to empty my cupboards first?
No. The treatment goes into hinges, voids and the gaps behind and under appliances, so cupboards can stay as they are. If anything is stored loose on a shelf you use daily, moving it is helpful but not required.
How long before they are gone?
Expect to keep seeing activity for up to four weeks, and to see more of them in the open in the first few days. That is the treatment working — they leave the harbourage and die in the open. Activity after four weeks is what the warranty is for.
Is it safe around children and pets?
Yes, once it has dried. The products are low-odour and applied into areas people do not touch. Your technician will tell you how long to stay off treated surfaces on the day.
Why is a full-property treatment more than the kitchen and bathroom?
Because it is more work and more product. If the activity has spread beyond the wet areas — bedrooms, the lounge, a roof void — treating only the kitchen leaves a population to come back from. The technician will tell you honestly which one you need.
